Katie and Andrew are one of the sweetest couples we have had the pleasure to work with! I first met them both at their engagement session in Athens and we instantly clicked (on a lot of levels, but most notably our love for Harry Potter). They have been such a joy to work with and I can’t wait for you to checkout these highlights of their day.
Katie’s “something blue” was this beautiful antique broach. There were so many sweet and sentimental heirloom pieces at this wedding! How adorable are these little flower girls?! Also, nothing is more classic to me than blue hydrangeas – so pretty in these bouquets.Andrew gifted Katie with this super sweet locket with their date engraved from Etsy. Their ceremony had so many great elements, including a special song! Two of my favorite shots (pictured above). Also, I just love how supportive and easy-going this couple’s bridal party was (pictured below)! Instead of a traditional grooms cake, Andrew opted for ice cream sandwiches!Katie’s dance with her dad was so fun!Andrew had very special dances with both his mom and stepmom!A little dancing, then Andrew and Katie snuck away for a few minutes to get some sweet couple’s shots!I couldn’t resist snapping a few more bridal shots with Katie in her veil! The Grand Magnolia House is such a great venue! We absolutely LOVE shooting here. After some more reception fun, we took a few more “night-time” shots. I was initially a little nervous about lighting when Katie remembered that she wanted some photos on the swing at the venue, but I love how they turned out! She had such a great idea, and the lit-up pavilion is truly the stuff of fairy tales! After one gorgeous sparkler exit, the couple was on their way to the honeymoon in Mexico. Congratulations Katie and Andrew!
