Fun, Thoughtful, Comfortable – Whether it was the footwear, the adorable doggies, the reception or the fun easy going personality of the bride and groom everything about Greg and Milinda’s wedding at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot exuded those 3 words. The day started and ended at one of our favorite downtown Atlanta venues: The Georgia Freight Depot, and shortly after our arrival we met with Milinda the bride. Immediately we could tell that there was something special about her, she was warm and kind, but she was also decisive and well organized, truly a rare mix to find! Moments later we met her perfect complement in her kind and fun-loving groom Greg. Instantly feelings of gratitude flooded in as I had been battling the Flu all week and had begun to lose my voice the night before. I knew that I was in for a long wedding day, but knowing that we were going to be able to work with such great people made me feel truly blessed and put my mind at ease. We jumped right into taking the detail shots and it didn’t take us long to see that Milinda and Greg had put and a tremendous amount of thought and meaning into each decision they made for their wedding day. They both chose to rock New Balance shoes because COMFORT, but it didn’t take away from the very glamorous look of her dress and his dapper suit. The wedding party wasn’t left out either, the guys all donned sneakers with their suits and the girls shined in gold dresses from Rent the Runway. They didn’t leave out their fur babies either! Winston, Maggie and Paisley all wore adorable getups for their parents big day! The pups joined their parents for the getting ready time as well as the reception (with a short break in-between for a gorgeous ceremony at Catholic Shrine of Immaculate Conception across the street).
