Kathryn and Matt have been such a fun couple to work with. From the moment we photographed their engagements earlier this year, we immediately hit it off and shooting their wedding felt like we were photographing for friends. Kathryn did such a great job choosing all of the details for her day and everything flowed together nicely. They are also our first couple to leave their ceremony on a tandem bicycle – so cute and unique! Kathryn wore her own dress for the majority of the day, but changed into her mother’s vintage wedding gown (updated with a few changes unique to her) during the reception. This soft pinky-rose color for bridesmaids’ dresses is timeless and never goes out of style!
The bride’s niece was one of her flower girls – you can tell they share a special bond! While the girl’s got ready at the venue, the guys got prepped for the day at an Air B&B close by. So many gorgeous details on this dress!
Kathryn had a photo of her late father and a brooch from Matt’s grandmother attached to her bouquet. This is another sweet way to remember passed loved one’s on your wedding day. First looks are the best! I love getting to capture these moments. The GA capital building can be seen directly across from the Freight Depot. The couple had a cute little audience for their photos. Matt and Kathryn had a GREAT wedding party!
These little ones are too adorable!A beautiful arbor by Tulip Atlanta.
Another fun detail: the ring bearer’s pillow was actually made with material from Kathryn’s grandmother’s wedding dress! The bride’s brother preparing to walk his sister down the aisle.
Such a beautiful ceremony!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lite cocktail hour before heading into the reception area. What a gorgeous set-up!
After the first dance, guests enjoyed dinner then a little cake cutting! These foam fingers were so cute an a real hit with the couple’s guests. Changing into her mother’s gown for the rest of the reception.
Thank you Matt and Kathryn for choosing us to photograph your big day! This was such a sweet wedding to be a part of and we had an amazing time. We wish you a happy and blessed marriage!
